Watch Research Registry
A number of people are maintaining lists of serial numbers and watch
descriptions for various companies. If you are looking for information on a
particular watch or maker, you may be able to get information you need from one
of these people. If you have a watch that fits into one of the
"Company" descriptions, please send the information to the contact person(s).

Clint Geller has been researching E. Howard & Co. watches for over a decade.
He has published four full-length NAWCC BULLETIN articles and several
shorter pieces for the benefit of the collecting community, with a fifth and
longer work to be part of a special NAWCC publication in 2004. Joined
recently by colleague and collaborator Harold Visser, Clint and Harold are
preparing a series of publications for this web site, for the NAWCC BULLETIN

Purpose: Ron has been researching the Model 57 since 1996.
His monograph, Origins of the Waltham Model 57, has been submitted to
NAWCC for publication. The current draft is posted on web site
http://www.pricelessads.com/m57/
in Acrobat PDF format with compressed picture files. Origins
chronicles over the quarter century during which the so-called Model 57
pocket watch established the success of the American Watch Company. It was
the first successful industrialized watch. Origins also documents all
observable features of the Model 57 and its predecessors. Ron expects this
to be an on-going research project and will update the monograph and its
data tables when new information is obtained.
